Located in Russell, a most beautiful village in the Bay of Islands, Motel Russell is set in an acre of subtropical gardens. It is the ideal place for a holiday to relax away from the city noises amidst the song of birds and the tranquillity of our gardens.

We offer you a choice of 15 accommodation units: studios, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments. Motel Russell provides accommodation for families, couples, individuals and groups.

Location

By car from Auckland - Russell is 3 hours drive via State Highway 1. After Whangarei, follow the signs for the Bay of Islands and turn off at Opua for the car ferry to Russell (signposted). Russell Village is a further 8km.

By air - there are daily Air New Zealand flights to Kerikeri airport. A shuttle service is available to Paihia and the passenger ferry across to Russell.
